Responsibilities

• Carry out visual and technical inspections of the blades to detect cracks, erosion, deformation or any other form of damage
• Carry out any necessary repairs to blades using composite materials (fiberglass, resin, etc.), following safety standards and procedures
• Ensure repairs comply with company quality standards and industry regulations
• Work to strict safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with height safety procedures
• Detailed documentation of interventions, repairs and parts used in the tracking system
• Comply with safety regulations required by the company and customers

Requirements

• The job involves working at height on turbines in service, which requires good physical condition and an aptitude for working at height
• Previous experience in wind turbine blade repair an asset
• Bodybuilder training an asset
• Proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team and independently
• A valid Class 5 licence and a good driving record
• Availability for overtime and travel according to contracts
• Knowledge of current safety standards for working at heights and on-site procedures is an asset
• Safety certifications an asset
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English is an asset
• Rigor, precision and autonomy
• Attention to detail and ability to carry out high-quality repairs
• Team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in varied conditions and outdoors
