Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all human resources functions, including recruitment, performance management, organizational development and legal compliance
Specifically, you will:
- Work with managers to identify staffing needs and select suitable candidates;
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and improve processes, in line with the company’s strategic objectives;
- Manage the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, advertising, shortlisting candidates and coordinating interviews;
- Prepare and manage hiring and termination documents (employment contracts, administrative forms, etc.) and maintain personnel files;
- Organize and conduct annual evaluation meetings with workers;
- Present and explain evaluation reports provided by management;
- Discuss and adjust salaries according to performance;
- Apply total rewards concepts in the compensation program to attract, motivate and retain key employees;
- Support the management of benefits programs (group insurance, pension plans, etc.) and answer employees’ questions;
- Answer employee questions about company policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR issues;
- Advise management on strategies for total compensation, recognition and retention of human resources;
- Establish and maintain pay equity structure and compliance, providing guidance to management;
- Draft, revise and propose HR practices and policies that reflect our employer brand and our human and caring values. Document them all, notably in the Employee Handbook;
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety standards, and internal company policies;
- Advise and get involved in more complex situations in order to apply internal administrative and disciplinary policies and procedures;
- Plan, draft and coordinate internal communications.

Requirements
Profile required
- Diploma in human resources management;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a human resources management role, preferably in a related field;
- Excellent knowledge of labor laws and regulations;
- Perfect command of spoken and written French and English;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work in a team, innovate and improve HR processes;
- Proactivity and autonomy in managing daily tasks;
- Demonstrates adaptability to unforeseen situations and changes by modifying behavior according to new environmental requirements;
- Business acumen: understanding internal and external issues and translating them into human resources strategies;
- Ability to act tactfully and diplomatically in any situation.
