Responsibilities

Your role

As an Accounting technician, you will be called upon to supervise all aspects of the company’s financial activities. You will work closely with the management team to guarantee the integrity of financial data and provide relevant analyses to support strategic decision-making.

More specifically, you will:

• Implement and maintain effective financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform financial analyzes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate and direct budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage accounting closing processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor financial performance indicators and propose corrective actions, if necessary.
• Collaborate with the operational team to optimize processes and improve profitability.
• Provide support for internal and external audits.
• Ensure the integration and development of information technologies.
• Identify subsidies applicable to the business and its operation.

Requirements

Required profile

• College diploma DEC) in accounting or related training program(s).
• Relevant experience in a similar position.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards.
• Mastery of IT tools, including financial management software.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
• Autonomous and attention to detail.
• Respect of deadlines.
