Soluwin Services Inc. is a company specializing in the wind energy sector. Based in New Richmond, Gaspésie, Soluwin provides its expertise in wind turbine maintenance and repair to clients across Canada. As a growing company, we are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to support daily operations and contribute to the stability, profitability, and performance of current and future projects.

Reporting to the Director of Services, the Project Coordinator will be based in New Richmond or within a 100 km radius. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the company’s projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate requests for proposals received;
  • Work closely with departments to calculate bids, providing technical support as needed;
  • Plan and coordinate the stages for each project to ensure effective implementation;
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise field activities;
  • Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with deadlines, allocated budgets, and performance objectives;
  • Apply and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and procedures;
  • Follow up on weekly reports and manage additional or unexpected work during execution;
  • Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers;
  • Review and validate timesheets and work orders;
  • Ensure that commitments regarding deliverables, deadlines, and budgets are met;
  • Perform any other related tasks deemed relevant to the successful completion of projects;

Requirements

  • Experience in supervision, coordination, or project planning (3 to 5 years of experience)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English;
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and good driving record;
  • Willingness to work overtime when required;
  • Valid passport (an asset);
  • Hold a degree in project management or a related field (an asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.);
  • Be available and authorized to travel within Canada and the United States
