Responsibilities

Your role

As a financial controller, you will be called upon to supervise and manage all aspects of the company’s financial function. You will work closely with the different teams to guarantee the integrity of financial data and provide relevant analyzes to support strategic decision-making.
More specifically, you will have to:

• Implement project-based accounting to analyze production costs and track the financial progress of each project.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports;
• Ensure the integration and development of information technologies within the company;
• Develop, implement and maintain effective financial policies and procedures;
• Perform in-depth financial analyzes to identify trends, risks and opportunities;
• Coordinate and direct budgeting and forecasting activities;
• Manage accounting closing processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards;
• Monitor financial performance indicators and propose corrective actions if necessary;
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimize processes and improve profitability;
• Provide support for internal and external audits;
• Identify subsidies applicable to the business and its operations.

Requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred);
• Relevant experience in a similar position;
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards;
• CPA designation an asset;
• Mastery of IT tools, including financial management software;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English;
• Autonomous and attention to detail;
• Respect of deadlines.
